NPI, New Product Introduction, not only requires definition of the process it also, in many instances, requires developing the process. As part of our normal focus, we confirm the manufacturability of new component designs. To develop a process to accommodate a new package, we work with the supplier and our customers to develop one which can be used at the proof of concept phase and that is also sustainable in volume manufacturing.
